Meet Healix
Healix is a mental health clinic offering virtual care to meet you where you are. We provide warm, evidence-based support for individuals navigating neurodivergence, chronic illness, trauma, and the demands of caregiving. Our approach is trauma-informed, inclusive, and holistic, designed to honour your experience and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Meet Jessica Giesbrecht - Founder of Healix

Hi, and welcome to this space. I’m a Registered Nurse with nearly 20 years of experience, much of it spent in fast-paced emergency departments, where I witnessed both physical trauma and deep emotional pain—experiences that shaped my understanding of how interconnected our physical and mental health truly are.
In 2017, I returned to university to pursue a Master’s in Psychology and shifted my focus to mental health nursing. I’m also a mother, daughter, sister, wife, and lifelong learner who values authenticity. My hope is to create a space where people feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves.
The HELP Model
At Healix, we use the HELP model: Health, Environment, Life Events, and Psychiatric history, to understand the full picture of your mental wellness. This framework recognizes that your story is shaped by more than symptoms. It’s about where you’ve been, what you’re facing, and what support feels safe. It guides our clinicians to offer care that’s truly personalized, inclusive, and grounded in lived experience.
Mission
We’re here to make quality mental health care accessible, inclusive, and human.
Our mission is to offer evidence-based therapy that supports people often overlooked by traditional systems, especially those living with chronic health conditions, neurodivergence, and the weight of long-term caregiving. We strive to be a place where people feel seen, supported, and understood.
Why Choose Healix
At Healix, we believe healing happens in a relationship with yourself, your body, and others. Our work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience. We see therapy as a space to feel understood, not fixed, a place to reconnect with your own wisdom, pace, and strength.
